Relevant today

When John has finished writing the book of Revelation he was left with one of two choices...either seal up everything he had written, or keep it open for all of us today. Have you ever realized that?

Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll because the time is near. Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and the let the holy person continue to be holy."
(Revelation 22:10-11)

Imagine if John would've ignored what the angel was telling him and he sealed up the scroll...it would've juristically changed the word go God.

Sometimes, I used to read some of the verses in Revelation and nothing ever seemed to click. It's a crazy book! The descriptions of what heaven will be like, the descriptions of all the creatures, etc. I never understood why anybody enjoyed reading it! I specifically remember a kid that was in my Sunday school class who always told everyone that Revelation was his favorite book in the bible. Every time I read the book I think of that young kids excitement about it and quiet honestly that memory gave me excitement to.

Revelation finally clicked for me this morning. John didn't seal the scroll because the book of Revelation is relevant today.

"I am coming soon! Says the Lord."

The book was left open so that all can read and understand.

As Christ's return gets closer, there is a greater polarization between God's followers and Satan's followers. We must read the book of Revelation, hear its message, and be prepared for Christ's imminent return.

I encourage you to start reading the book of Revelation. There is no better time than starting today. With each passing day, Christ's return is getting closer and closer. We have to make sure that we have our priorities right because in the book of Revelation is where you will read about what will happen to followers of Christ and those who are stuck in Satan's ways.

It's a challenge, so buckle up. I promise that it'll be worth it.

it's okay to not understand

I believe that one of the things that hold people back from having a relationship with Christ is the feeling that they for some reason think...
