Don't forget about your parents

Good afternoon, I would love to give you some encouragement for your day today!

I think it is so hard sometimes to really appreciate your parents. Especially once we get to college and continue to grow up. I know for me, every year I am gone, the more and more my love and appreciation for them increases.

Proverbs 23:22-25 says: “Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy the truth and do not sell it-wisdom, instruction and insight as well. The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices him. May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth by joyful.”

With that being said, don’t forget about your parents. Our parents love us so so so much. It’s a love we cannot fathom. Then to know that God loves us even more is so crazy. Your parents love you, make them proud!

I also want to add a second part to today’s encouragement because these verses really stick out to me.

This is more about wisdom. I’m sure you have heard, “the wider the base, the taller the pyramid,” right? Well same is true with wisdom.

Proverbs 24:3:4 says: “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”

Strive for a life built with wisdom and you’ll be filled understanding, knowledge, and beautiful treasure.

~ Praying for you all ~
