Fulfilling covnersations

Have you ever been in the situation where you seem to have the same conversations with your peers day after day, and the conversations really aren't about things that are that important? Okay, maybe that was a bad way to word it, maybe the conversations you have on a daily basis aren't life giving. There, I like that a lot better.

This evening, I want to encourage you to have life giving conversations. Step out of your comfort zone the next time you talk to someone. Go a little bit deeper than you usually go. It's easy to talk about all of the things on the outside, but have you ever tried to get in the inside? It's really not that hard.

Honestly though, it gets hard because you sometimes don't have the ability or have the time to have conversations like that. Usually, it's a "hey whats up? how are you?" and you'll reply with "not much, how are you?" I don't know about you but that happens to me so many times throughout the day.

Having a conversation that is fulfilling is one of the greatest feelings. Every time I get the chance to know somebody on a deeper level, I just have a sense of fulfillment. We were made for relationships. Through relationships we love each other, and when we love each other, we obey the greatest commandment. The deep conversations don't even have to get to a spiritual level, it sometimes just feels so good to be able to have a conversation with somebody who will listen to you about everything you have to say. I promise you, that if you have a spiritual conversation or just a super chill conversation with somebody, that you will experience a feeling of fulfillment.

Be bold, it's a two way street.

I want to close with a verse that comes from Romans 15:13 and it says. "May the God of hope fill you  with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Trust in God, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Having a serious, authentic spiritual conversation with someone will fill your heart with an even greater love for our God.

I love getting to know people on a deeper level, if you are reading this and want to get together and connect sometime I would always be down for that.

it's okay to not understand

I believe that one of the things that hold people back from having a relationship with Christ is the feeling that they for some reason think...
