Investment

It's Wednesday night and I am sure that if you are reading this now, you have been swamped in homework all evening. It's that time of year where the assignments, tests and who knows what else just keeps getting poured on you. I encourage you to not let the business defeat you. There are two things that I want to encourage you with tonight that are so valuable to personal growth on a daily basis.

1.) I encourage you to reach out to some friends in the morning and ask them if they have anything they need prayer for. Try setting a reminder on your phone so that it's one of the first things you do in the morning. Imagine starting a day off where you text your friends and ask them what they need prayed for rather than waking up and scrolling through all the negativity you see on social media. If you don't know who to text just shoot for one person! It's the perfect way to start your day because you are reaching out to people (showing love) and you are praying. Try it tomorrow. It'll get your mind and your heart ready for the day.

2.) I also want to encourage you to reach out to a couple friends at night and ask them if they learned anything today. It can be something that you learn spiritually, emotionally, or mentally. I've had a mentor reach out to me with that question and it really gets me thinking and allows myself to reflect on the day. Life is too short to not reflect on what God is teaching us in our everyday lives.

I promise that if you start doing these two things that you will experience a feeling of great love and happiness. It may seem like it would take a long time...but it really doesn't. All you have to do it send out a text. Should be easy considering we all send out hundreds of texts a day. Try it out. You will not regret it.

it's okay to not understand

I believe that one of the things that hold people back from having a relationship with Christ is the feeling that they for some reason think...
