I don't understand

Do you ever go through your life on a daily basis and you feel like you do not understand the things that God is putting you through? Our lives are a roller coasters. You have days where you feel like you know what God's plan is, and other days you have no idea. It even goes deeper than that. It's not just his plan you might question, but things He puts you through. The last week and a half I have been trying to understand what is going on. It's not like I am lost, I get to spend time in the word and encouraging people everyday, but I know that there is more out there for me. I have had a lot of homework and tests the past couple of days and have felt mentally exhausted from it all. Why is God putting me through this? School isn't like this all the time. Why now? Seriously though...do you ever feel this way? I know that in a couple of days everything will clear up and I'll feel charged up again, that is just how it seems to happen over and over again. Here is the thing, I don't think that we were meant to fully understand these things. God is mysterious and part of his mysterious greatness is us not being able to comprehend what is going on. That is what make God, God. God wouldn't be God if we knew and understood the reasons for everything. 

When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the labor that is done on earth-people getting no sleep day or night-then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it. (Ecclesiastes 8:16-17)

I hope that this post was encouraging to you today and that you could understand it. I struggled thinking about what I wanted to encourage you with today, and I believe what I shared was what the Spirit wanted me to. So, next time you feel like you don't understand what is going on in your life, don't worry, you are not alone.
