My answer to that question is this: The god of this age is what people look to the most when it comes to decisions they make and where people spend the most of their time. I believe that what people put before god is their god.
God is what should come first always. "gods," are things that we idolize.
The god if this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
All in all the gospel is open and revealed to everyone, except to those who refuse to believe. Satan is "the god of this age." His work is to deceive, and he has blinded those who don't believe in Christ.
Money, power, and pleasure blinds people to the light of Christ's gospel. Those who reject Christ and prefer their own pursuits have unknowingly made Satan their god.
Is that you? Do you prefer your own pursuits over the plan that God has for you?
If so, I pray for you. When you get your life alined with what God wants for you there is power that is everlasting.
