Time and time again I read through a passage in the word and a few words stick out to me. Not even a full sentence but it hits my heart in such a way that I can't help but share. Most of the time these little half sentences can make the world of difference.
One of the things that I believe strongly in is helping people learn in the most simple ways. With that being said, with this post I want to make it as simple and easy to understand.
I want to challenge you with this thought: When you think of who the bible is for...does a certain group of people come to mind?
If it did, you're wrong.
The word of God is for all.
"To all God's holy people in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:1)
My one thing for you today is this. When you think of who the bible is for, remember that it is for everybody. Get that stereotype out of your head on who you think it's specifically for. It's for all and it was written for all of God's people.
My simple challenge for you today to broaden your scope.
I know this was really short, but I believe that it was effective.
I write for one reason, and that is to encourage others, give perspective, and get people excited about their faith.
