no limits

I've been wondering when the world will get better and all of the negativity, political unrest, drama, and horrible news will go away. It just seems likes things keep getting worse and worse. It's hard to find good things that are happening because the media is portraying everything to be negative. Quite honestly, there is a ton of negative news out there.

It's why I don't watch it. I feel like every time I watch the news it brings me down.

I am at the point where I am just wondering if it will ever get better?

A thousand years in your sight,
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night. (Psalm 90:4)

A thousand years are like a day to the Lord. God is not limited by time. It's easy to get discouraged when years pass and the world doesn't get better.

Sometimes we wonder if God is able to see the future. But don't assume that God has our limitations. God is completely unrestricted by time. Because he is eternal, we can depend on him.

I believe we let what we are limited by, affect the way that we view things. You can't even compare our limitations to God's because he has none.

I also believe that we are too impatient. We ask God for something and immediately we want whatever it is we ask for. I've prayed my whole life for my future wife, and I didn't meet her until I was 22 years old...I've been praying about having a lifestyle where I can always give glory to God in all that I say and do for years...I didn't really understand what that meant until I was 22/23.

My point with those examples is that God isn't in rush. I picture God up in heaven, watching over each and every person carefully planning out everyones lives. He's taking his time. Our Father, the creator of everything is putting together something special for everyone.

With this post, I pray that you understand that God has no limits on time. He is eternal. We can depend on him forever because that's what eternity is. Why rely on the temporary things this world has to offer when we can rely on what God has to offer that will last forever?
