be still.

The last 48 hours in our country have been crazy. If you're anything like me, you probably feel like everything is moving a million miles an hour. Coronavirus, coronavirus, coronavirus. It's all we've been consumed by and it's all we hear about and talk about.

Everyone is freaking out. I've don't think I have ever experienced anything like this in my life time. The media, social media, your workplace, schools, it's the only thing that is talked about.

In a time like this...there is one important thing to remember and that is to simply 'be still.'

"Be still and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)

When everything is moving a million miles an hour. God is still God. The coronavirus isn't God, the government isn’t God, the media isn't God.

God is still God.

Events like this taking place are inevitable, but so is God's final victory.

At that time, all will stand quietly before the Lord Almighty. How proper, then, for us to be still now, reverently honoring him and his power and majesty. Slow down and take time each day to be still and to exalt God.
