Reverent submission = answered prayers
Reverent submission = yes Lord, I’ll obey, because your eyes see further than mine.
Reverent submission = not my will, but yours.
During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. (Hebrews 5:7)
If we desperately want prayers answered, God won’t hear our prayers if we continue to pray in a lackluster way. The crazy thing is, I believe that God is so good that he does answer our lackluster prayers sometimes. Now imagine if we prayed in reverent submission. Imagine how much your faith and your life would change
Praying with reverent submission means that you are willing to do whatever God wants.
I encourage you to commit to praying with reverent submission and I promise God will do amazing things.
I write for one reason, and that is to encourage others, give perspective, and get people excited about their faith.
