service and actions

Let's get straight to the challenge today. My challenge for you is to love someone by serving them and through your actions.  Not your words.

There are tons of people who can walk the walk but not talk the talk. How many people can you think off the top of your head who said they were going to do something and they never do it. Or someone who says they really care about you and then they don't.

Staying true to your words through your actions and service is one of the most significant things about someones character. Your actions and service open the door to a tidal wave of respect from peers, friends, family, and co-workers.

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. (1 John 3:18)

Real love is action, not a feeling.

Real love produces selfless, sacrificial giving.

Real love is giving oneself to others.

How can we lay down our lives? By serving others with no thought of receiving anything in return. Sometimes it is easier to say we'll die for others than to truly live for them-this involves putting others' desires first.

Show someone you love them today rather than saying it. I can promise you that it will make you feel like you are doing the right thing, and the person on the receiving end will feel more loved than ever.
