God knows your efforts

Being completely honest with you here...I think one of the most difficult things sometimes for believers and doing the right thing over and over again but there never seems to be an award. I specially remember times when I started growing in my faith pretty intensely and my friends would be talking about things I would normally participate in and I wouldn’t join them. I remember it was hard for me but I was so proud. It was hard to feel like it was worth it because everything seemed the same besides me not fitting in as much. 

As believers it’s easy to get discouraged, thinking that God has forgotten about us. But God never will.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10)

God is never unjust. He never forgets or overlooks our hard work for him. Presently we may not be receiving rewards and acclaim, but God knows our efforts and love and ministry. 

I would encourage you as you begin the week to keep on furthering the kingdom of God. Keep being obedient and keep doing things that would please God. As hard and as presently unrewarding it might be, God will never overlook it. 

God won’t ever forget all the good that we do. Stay encouraged!
