Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.
(1 Peter 4:12-13)
I think it would be a safe bet to assume that you have faced a trail or two throughout your life. As if something strange were happening to us right? We must be glad for the trails that make us partners with Christ! Sometimes it's easy for a trail to get into my head, oftentimes things will seem to be going great and then all of a sudden they aren't and those are the times where we are to embrace those trials.
In life, growth happens when we doing things that we are uncomfortable with. You can be really average doing the same thing all the time, but we have to grow and we grow through our trials.
When we suffer we are partners with Christ. Which means that we will have the wonderful joy in seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. You know who doesn't get to experience that? People who aren't partners of Christ.
When you are faced with moments today when you feel like you are suffering, just know that you have a partner to go through that with you. You have a partner who has been there and done that. Jesus experienced suffering that we could never even imagine, and he did it for us.
Rather than letting your suffering get inside your head, take suffering head on today!
