Happy Friday to you all. I just want to give you something short and brief in hopes that it will lift you up today.
I love what Jesus said in John 16:33 "Here on earth you will have many trails and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." What does it mean to take heart? Don't give up. Be encouraged. Lift your spirits. And do this on purpose. With intention. Literally, take courage. Choose it. When you feel tired, discouraged, disappointed, or run down, make the choice to take heart. Life gets crazy busy and you feel many types of ways throughout every single day. Some days you feel like you are on top of the world because everything is going so well, and other days, stress can take over your mindset and cause a lot of anxiety. Whether you are experiencing the highest of highs or the lowest of lows, always lift your spirits and take courage. Our God is everlasting and he is always there and will forever be there. He is the most valuable resource we have and I think that we take it for granted. I'm not telling you something I don't have to do myself. I have't always taken heart every day, but I'm trying to live this way too. It is amazing when you start living this way, how much better your life will get. I can attest to that. When I feel tired, when I feel unsure about things I am going through, I try to chose courage time and time again to believe that God's got everything under control.
Take heart, chose courage.
